Why you should take cautions when shopping in Jaya Jusco

1. Please double check that you lock your car and activate alarm when parking at Jusco, especially when you are parking outside of Jaya Jusco parking area. Car theft and car accessories theft are rampant these days. You don't want to get a good bargain or save of few hundreds bucks at Jaya Jusco sale but ends up losing few thousands of your car accessories. Or worse you lose the whole car!

I was driving out from the Jusco basement parking when I saw this brand new car with its right rear window smashed. Hmm..might be accessory that was stolen or the owner left valuable items on the car seat. Easy prey.. Hey!Don't even left you paper bags to be seen by the thieves!

2. Make sure you are parking legally. No parking on double lines ( it's happens in Malaysia) and on yellow line. You see, I was inside Jaya Jusco this afternoon and listened to the DJ announcing that customers whose car are parked on the yellow line on the street infront are being fined by the police.

He, he, I would rather spend my 150 bucks with Jusco than spending it to that one expensive paper compound note ...:-)

3. If you are bringing along your small children, be careful and don't let you child lose. Take extra care and do not let them out of your sight and hearing. I was in Jaya Jusco sale several times and found out a few children was lost and found by the Jusco staff (announced thru the PA system). What would happen if someone with bad intention kidnap them? These lost childrens happened every time I went to Jusco J card Day










Parking the right way. Many Jusco Taman Universiti customers were fined by the Traffic Police this noon for illegal parking.












You can always come back for Jaya Jusco sales but once your child was lost and taken away by bad people, only God knows when you will get to see them again.

The best away in my humble opinion, is not to bring you child along and find someone you really trust like your mother to look after them or find a nanny. Hmm.. and make sure that your mother are not that old...


4. Plastic money, yeah! a really important tool when you go for a shopping nowadays. I mean that credit card..but be wise when shopping with credit card in your wallet or purse..You might end up being able to pay only minimum payment if you are not being prudent...In my humble opinion , better top up your debit card and set how much you are going to spend during the Jaya Jusco jcard day. Public bank, CIMB, Ambank, Maybank all of them have debit card facilities. Use them to control your spending habit.

5. And ahh..this is the most important thing not to be forget..Please double check.You have just parked your car, locked the door, walking excitedly towards the entrance and there you see the Security guys or ladies smiling and you smile back at them flashing you the most valuable stuff you should have brought...then you check your wallet, your purse, your handbags..your heart beating wildly.

OH MY GOD!, OH MY GOSH! GOD! ALAMAK! AIYAHH! AI YO YO!.. You left your Jusco Card at home! And you are cursing like hell while driving back home or wherever that you left the Jusco Card.

6. Last but not least... if you are a married woman, make sure that your hubby have that strong mental strength to withstand your whims and that long hours during the Jaya Jusco Jcard day..or if he is not, just bring along your friends. He he..and strong financial too.. have a nice shopping folks!

Jaya Jusco Goods price, fuel price and Anwar Ibrahim promise to reduce fuel price

Lately, I went to the Jaya Jusco and found out that the price for a lot numbers of goods especially in supermarket department has been increasead.

This is due to the action of the suppliers of various goods increasead the price because of transportation factor.

This is unavoidable external factor has lead many customers of Jaya Jusco to find alternative shopping places that offer much less good price.

But the truth is Jaya Jusco still manage to attracting customers loyalty to its outlets. If you compare the outside price and within Jaya Jusco you will find the price is competitive although certain items are a bit higher than outside. I love shopping at Jaya Jusco.

Yesterday, the PKR Adviser( Opposition Party ) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in his debate with Dato' Shaberi of Ministry of Information promise that he will reduce the fuel price to RM0.50 if he is elected as the Prime Minister. (Picture courtsy of Malaysia Today)

Is Jaya Jusco threatened by the new supermarkets

Now if you look around supermarkets and medium size shopping complexes are flourishing like mushroom after the rain down.

Why ? Coz where ever I go now I would see structures of what appears to be shopping complexes are being built.

Take example. In Skudai there will be Sutera Mall. Yeah, another shopping complex. So, who is the anchor tenant? Well I guess many of you still don't know.

Carefour! It has been ages since the old one at Pandan opened. Sometimes it seems that the one at Pandan has come to its end.

If I am not mistaken, sometimes around 2006 there were rumours that Carefour Pandan was going to close down because sale was not good and peoples patroning the place was declining.

And the shop keepers also commented that business was not so good compare to earlier years of its opening.

At that time you can count with your fingers that there were only few places where you can go shopping.

There were only Komtar, Holiday Plaza, Sentosa Complex and so on a few at that time.

Now, back to the main issue. The Jaya Jusco Bukit Indah is going to compete with Tesco Bukit Indah and Carefour Taman Sutera Utama.

Jaya Jusco Tebrau also will compete with Tecso Tebrau now in construction just before the entrance to Jusco Tebrau.

Jaya Jusco Taman Universiti now is competing with Giant Taman Pulai Utama.

So in the future I predict that Jaya Jusco will lost some of its customer to the other supermarkets and jcard day will no longer attractive to present customers.

Do you know why Jaya Jusco stop the prepaid meal payment by card?

I have been thinking about this since the Jaya Jusco stop the system around 3 or 4 years ago. I have my reasons for supporting this system and looking forward for the Jaya Jusco store bringging back the system into the Arena Restaurant

Personally the system is good because I don't have to :
1. bring my wallet out of the pocket
2. pick which one(s) of the RM notes should I pay with
3. hassle of putting in the coins and RM notes into my wallet
4. hassle of putting in my wallet back into my pocket that certain times are filled with other things(cramped)


Why did they abolished the system that was for convenience to the customer?

One reason is because:

1. One day I was happened to buy my meal and saw this uncle got angry while mumbling to the cashier staff why he couldn't pay by the notes. It seems that he didn't aware of the card system already in use.
Poor that cashier girl ....

I think maybe here in this country people are not familiar with prepaid card for meals, in Japan or developed countries this method of payment are already familiar for the past 20 or 30 years ago.
